LET IT HAPPEN IN THE BACKGROUND
We worked on this project with the intention of trying to create an animated sequence in this low-poly style, testing out how we can create atmosphere and emotion with as little detail as possible.
We focused on the challenges and opportunities that the low-poly style presented, investigating the powers of suggestion and the beautiful simplicity of minimalism. We were really pleased to see how the results of our experiment in crafting atmosphere and emotion with this approach were beyond our expectations. Sometimes less can definitely be more, and this animation proves it in full. It was a thoroughly enjoyable process, and the outcome is quite promising in terms of future creative possibilities as well.
